Two Brahms Hungarian Dances (arr. Stephen Chin) for String Orchestra

Brahms freely adapted 21 Hungarian Dances for two pianos and eventually, symphony orchestra.  The brooding nature of the 1^st Dance allows the ensemble to focus bow pressure into the string to produce a fantastic tone.  The 2^nd Dance is simply wild in its change of tempo and mood!  Either one would make a rousing finale to a concert. Grade 3.
