Rainforest Sketches (Stephen Chin) for String Orchestra

These three miniatures reflect the wonderment and awe experienced as one journeys through a tropical rainforest.  Players will enjoy exploring different moods and tone colours in each work.  The wide range of techniques used such as pizzicato, sustained notes, double quavers and left-hand pizzicato can be easily tackled by even the least accomplished of young musicians.
