Glendalough is Irish in essence. The piece was inspired by Glendalough, a famous historic site and scenic walk located an hour south of Dublin. Often noted as “truly one of the most beautiful places to visit in Ireland”, the area boasts two lakes, streams, fields, and the ruins of a medieval monastery founded by St Kevin in 618 AD.
