Guarneri Violin Chin Rest - Plastic 4/4

This Guarneri-style plastic chinrest fits 4/4 violins, with standard brackets. It has a arched plate, suitable for players who like to hold their violin towards the left, in comparison to the Tekka-style which lets the player place their chin further towards the middle. It is a large chinrest with a medium depth cup that mounts over the tailpiece. The lip is square-ish and nicely rounded. It is also slightly rounded as it flows off on the treble side.

To install, loosen up the brackets and rest the chinrest to the left of the tailpiece, as seen in the product picture. Following this, insert the tip of the chinrest tool into one of the little holes on the bracket, and turn to tighten. Repeat with the other bracket.
